Delegates Fees at The OSCAR Foundation National Conference
The OSCAR Foundation members receive special delegates early bird rates for the National Conference held every 18 months. This is a chance for OSCAR providers to get together from all over New Zealand to find out what is happening in the OSCAR sector. There are a wide range of workshops from hands on arts and crafts to current topical management issues.

The OSCAR Foundation members receive discounted prices on the "Go Kids!" resource kit and additional modules as they are produced.
Specialised Regional Training
The OSCAR Foundation members are eligible for reduced training fees for specialied regional training sessions and workshops provided by The OSCAR Foundation.

Life Care Consultants
First Aid Certificate training tailored specifically for OSCAR providers. First aid training is particularly important for OSCAR programmes. According to CYF standards at least one person working with the children must have a current fi rst aid certifi cate. The OSCAR Foundation and Life Care Consultants have been working together to develop a first aid course that is specifi cally aimed at out of school care staff . The training is tailored to meet the needs of OSCAR providers and is held at times that fit with OSCAR hours.
