Management Day

Following a highly successful Management Day at the Conference in 2007, we will once again be offering this for management delegates.
Delegates can choose one from four topics offered. The four topics offered are:
 What’s In My Child Protection Policy? Presented by CPS
CYF Approval for OSCAR Services Presented by Wendy Penhearow (National OSCAR Advisor, CYF) and Sally Lee (OSCAR Advisor, The OSCAR Foundation)
Alternative Income Streams Presented by Deva St. John-Parasian (Grants Administrator, The OSCAR Foundation)
"Go Kids!" Presented by "Go Kids!" (The OSCAR Foundation)
Cost $100.00 per person.
Shopping Experience
Friday 17 October 10.30am - 4.30pm
Enjoy a day of shopping without worrying about Auckland traffic! Transport is arranged to take you to two of Auckland’s main shopping destinations, Dress Smart and Sylvia Park. Meet in front of the Conference Information Desk at Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre at 10.20am. The bus will depart at 10.30am.
Cost $25.00 per person. Please note, a minimum number applies for the Shopping Experience to go ahead.
Drinks Hour
Friday 17 October 6.00pm - 7.00pm
We are holding a Drinks Hour on Friday evening prior to the Dinner and Quiz Night. This will be held in the Exhibition Hall and will allow you to have preview of the OSCAR Trade Show. You will receive a complimentary drink on arrival, and a cash bar will be operating.
The OSCAR Foundation AGM will be held prior to the Drinks Hour at 5.00pm.
Dinner and Quiz Night
Friday 17 October 7.00pm
Join us at Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre for an exciting Quiz Night and an informal dinner where you can meet other delegates and have a great night out.
Cost $35.00 per person. This includes a meal and participation in the Quiz. A cash bar will be operating.
Walk Around Lagoon
Saturday 18 October 5.00pm
Enjoy a leisurely 3.3km walk around the lagoon after a day sitting, listening, learning and absorbing information. The group will meet in front of the Conference Information Desk at Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre at 5.00pm.
Awards Evening
Saturday 18 October 7.00pm Pre-Dinner Drinks begin at 6.00pm
