OSCAR Week provides a nationwide opportunity for OSCAR programmes to celebrate all that is great about OSCAR.
It was established in 1998 and initially only ran for one week, but for both before/after school programmes and holiday programmes to enjoy it and participate in all the activities provided, it was extended to cover two weeks.
OSCAR Week provides OSCAR Programmes with a wide range of benefits including:
 Themed activity ideas
Art Competition for children
Gives OSCAR programmes opportunities to promote themselves to their communities,
Enables OSCAR programmes to connect with their communities in lots of fun and exciting ways,
Helps to give programmes a sense of ‘belonging’ to this wonderful sector,
Enables programmes to have loads of fun.
