Go Kids!
Go Kids! is a nationwide project to enhance the fitness and health of children participating in Out of School Care and Recreation through a programme that provides regular healthy activity.
About Go Kids!
Over 750 OSCAR groups participate in the Go Kids! programme, serving approximately 100,000 young New Zealanders. The OSCAR Foundation sees the Go Kids! initiative as a major strategy to put activity back into out of school time.
Rebuilding Go Kids!
Go Kids! is currently going through a rebuilding phase to reignite the fantastic resource that we know is so popular in the OSCAR sector. Over the next 12 months from June 2010 we will be be taking Go Kids! through a process to rebuild the resource into something that continues to be practical, useful, fun for children and easy for staff to implement into their OSCAR programmes.
